1000 suicides
Today, I witnessed my girls, my coach, my teachers jogging non-stop for half an hour - as a team - up and down the court to complete 1000 suicides.
Even when some of us were in pain, injured ankles, painful stitches, muscle cramps, we still perservered till the end. Thank you Mr Ng, who joined us back for the first time since June, for running with us. Yvonne, who was cheering us on flipping the cards, calculated that we did 1020 suicides. I'm proud of all of us.
Your team spirit inspires me, and i hope it will continue to inspire each one of us - when we feel that everything is too hard to handle, and there seems to be no light at the end of the tunnel, and all we can think is of giving up. We know that as long as we put our hearts to it, we can, and we continue trying no matter what.
In coach's words: No sweat!
Till then, see you next training. Be good, come to school.

Its been a hazy week
The past week has been hazy. I hope that this week will be haze-less.
Glad that everyone is not daunted by the haze. Remember, if anyone has asthma, or feeling breathless during training, please inform coach or your teachers.
One more week to T-net. Train hard girls.

Training Resumes....
Training is beginning to hit the routine of Tuesday and Thursday. It is really nice to see Coach again, and of course, all my bball girls.
Today's training ended with the dreaded beep test. Although everyone complained and were in fear of it, I am proud that all of you did put in effort into the test, and that everyone tried, despite the hazy conditions.
Bravo to the following people who demonstrated extraordinary effort and perserverance!
1. Zoey, who did a great score of 7 (improvement from 3)
2. Fernanda, who improved her personal best to 6-4 (from 5-6)
3. Jean, who persisted despite stomach cramps
4. Sebrina, who almost won her Swensons treat from Mr Tan.
Let's continue to train hard, improve our fitness. I promise that I will join the beep test the next time round.
Remember what Mr Tan said, W.E. are coming home. Home, is where you feel safe, and if you have any problems, come and find us, we will do our best to help you.
Till next training,
Miss Koh
