Our under 16 girls played their 3rd-4th placing match against Unity Secondary School today.
The score was neck to neck the first half, tied at 16-16 till half time. Our girls bravely fought on, putting up an aggressive fight till the very end, but were defeated with a score of 35-32. Just 3 points short to win a bronze.
The T-net journey has come to an end, with the girls beating rivals Christchurch, North Vista and Zhong Hua in the qualifying rounds, proceeding to quarter-finals, losing to Dunman Sec and beating Ngee Ann Sec, and finally playing in the semi-finals against SCGS.
The under-13 girls have also put in a valiant fight in their qualifying rounds. To many of the girls, this is their first basketball tournament, and they have done the team proud with their never-say-die attitude.
Cherish and learn from the experience girls. Heads up - Deyi is 4th in T-net, and in the running to be Champions in the next competition!
